Tehran (IP) - Iran's minister of information and communications technology said Iran exports its knowledge-based companies' software, hardware, and telecommunications products to Russia.

Iran PressIran News: In his visit to Russia on Thursday, Isa Zarepour met with some of the Russian communications and information technology and media (Roskomnadzor) authorities.

In a post on social media, Zarepour wrote on Saturday that for the first time, the largest Iranian private companies in the field of communications and information technology, with the support of Iran's ministry of communications, have almost reached a final agreement with the Russian companies to exchange knowledge and technology and to export Iranian goods and services to Russia and Eurasia.  

He went on to say that the current situation of the international and regional markets in the field of communications and information technology doubles the chances of the success of Iranian companies in the markets.

He added Iran and Russia have signed four cooperation documents that help the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the field of communications and information technology and paves the way for the presence of Iranian companies in the Russian and Eurasian market.
