IP- The 3+3 Mechanism is the best for long-term stability and cooperation in the South Caucasus, says Iran's ambassador to Baku.

Iran PressAsia: "The Islamic Republic of Iran supports any process/initiative that leads to lasting peace, stability, and security in the region," Iran's Ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi, tweeted.

"Bilateral talks and intra-regional dialogues ( 3+3 Mechanism / Iran, Russia, and Turkey + Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia) are the best for long-term stability and cooperation in the South Caucasus," Mousavi said, commenting on a meeting between foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia.

In a meeting with FM of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan, issues on normalization of relations were discussed, Jeyhun Bayramov, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, tweeted.

"Full implementation of all provisions of Trilateral Statements, humanitarian issues, including the fate of missing persons were stressed. Importance of continuing direct dialogue noted," Bayramov noted.
