Rome (IP) - In response to the demand of Iranians living in the centre and south of Italy, Iran Air re-established Tehran-Rome-Tehran direct flight.

Iran PressIran news: Iran Air flights to Rome were stopped 4 years ago. Homa flights to Rome take place on Thursdays every week. The people of Iran and Italy have welcomed the resumption of Iran Air flights to Rome.

After meeting with his Italian counterpart, Alessio Quaranta, three weeks ago in Rome, the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development and the Head of the Iran Civil Aviation Organization, Mohammad Mohammadi-Bakhsh, announced the start of Iran Air direct flights to Rome.

In the meeting, the importance of increasing flights between Iran and Italy to develop tourism and strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries was emphasized.

Iran Air also has flights to Milan in northern Italy every Tuesday.
