Tehran (IP) -The head of the Iran-Uzbekistan Parliamentary Friendship Group reports about the Parliament Speaker's visit to Uzbekistan to shore up political, cultural, and economic relations along with parliamentary ties.

Iran PressIran news: Gholamreza Nouri Ghezelcheh said that Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf would go to Uzbekistan on Tuesday at the formal invitation of his Uzbek counterpart. 

Ghalibaf is scheduled to have meetings with a group of businessmen and visit some cultural capacities of the country for the elevation ties between the two countries. 

Due to its countries' common grounds and their activities in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), the Central Asian region can play an essential role in the expansion of Iran's exports, increase in sustainable foreign exchange revenues, and access to larger markets for the Iranian producers.
