Tehran (IP)- Iran's Parliament Speaker says that education is the most important priority of the Islamic Republic.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking at the first congress of Islamic Revolutionary Teachers held in Tehran, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that culture was one of the country's first and most important priorities.

By paying attention to education, we will save the country from serious, even immediate economic challenges, Ghalibaf noted. 

Ghalibaf referred to the corona pandemic: Corona was a great and challenging experience, especially in the field of education; Coronavirus shifted us from linear management to cybernetic management of the third generation."

He said that education should not go towards privatization and the money-making sector, stressing that it was a social institution with all the beliefs of the Islamic Revolution based on the people, community building, and civilization. 

In conclusion, Iran's Parliament Speaker reiterated: "Today, the first and last priority of the country is not the economy, but culture and education; Education has an important and fundamental element, i.e the teacher."
