Tehran(IP) - Iran's newly appointed Foreign Ministry Spokesman said that Ali Bagheri, Deputy Foreign Minister and Senior Negotiator of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will leave for Doha on Tuesday to continue negotiations on lifting sanctions.

Iran PressIran news: On Monday, Nasser Kanani said: "In the framework of the agreements reached during the visit of Josep Borrell, The EU's foreign policy chief's visit to Tehran, to continue negotiations on lifting sanctions, Ali Bagheri, the political deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the senior negotiator of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will leave for Doha on, Tuesday.

Naser Kanaani, Iran's newly appointed Foreign Ministry Spokesman, has been the head of Iran's interest section in Cairo.

Khatibzadeh, former Foreign Ministry Spokesman, yesterday, in his latest news presser, said that he would be with Mr. Amir Abdolhian as a consultant in the diplomatic apparatus.

Earlier, the EU foreign policy chief confirmed that Vienna talks between Iran and the European Union over reviving the shattered 2015 Tehran nuclear agreement, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), would resume in the coming days.

Joseph Borrell, EU foreign policy chief, arrived in Tehran on Friday. He discussed with Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Iranian Foreign Minister, and Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council.
