Iran Press/ Asia: The 2022 Asian Taekwondo Championships were the 25th edition of the Asian Taekwondo Championships and were held from 24 to 27 June 2021 in Hoban Gymnasium, Chuncheon, South Korea.
Bagging three gold medals, two silver medals, and one bronze medal, the Iranian women's taekwondo team stood with 500 points in the first place in the 2022 Asian Taekwondo Championships.
Nahid Kiani, Akram Khodabandeh, and Zahra Pour-Esmail snatched the gold medals; Mina Nematzadeh and Natarn Valizadeh won the silver medals Zahra Sheidai picked the bronze medal.
China stood second with 379 points, and South Korea reached third with 347 points.
