Iran Press/ Iran News: Festival Secretary Fereydoon Vaziri told Iran Press correspondent in Ahvaz that more than 460 pieces of music were sent to the festival secretariat, and finally, 205 were accepted for the stage performance, and artists competed in various styles.
The 16th Khuzestan Music Festival was held in three sections: local, traditional and classical, and on Friday night, a plaque of appreciation was given to the selected artists at the closing ceremony.
Heidari, the veteran judge of the festival, told Iran Press correspondent in Ahvaz that educated artists participated in the 16th Khuzestan Music Festival, and the celebration was excellent.
He said that young artists and musicians had good progress in the festival, some of whom were under 15, which is commendable for the future of Iranian music.
