Beirut (IP) - Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon said that Imam Khomeini's school is based on sacrifice and jihad, and no country can maintain its independence without jihad.

Iran PressMiddle East: The conference "Islamic Revolution from the Perspective of Hezbollah in Lebanon" was held on Tuesday in Beirut with the presence of various walks of life, political and religious figures, and Sheikh Naeem Qassem, Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon as a special guest.

The conference, sponsored by the Al-Maaref Al-Hokmiya Institute, was also attended by key figures in the Lebanese resistance.

At the conference, Sheikh Naeem Qassem pointed out the importance of the Islamic Revolution and said that the services of the Islamic Revolution to the people of Iran and other nations are admirable.

Sheikh Naeem Qassem, emphasizing the impact of Imam Khomeini's personality in the region and the world, said: "Imam Khomeini's school is based on sacrifice and jihad, and no country can maintain its independence without jihad."Justice is very important, and it can not be said that its implementation is easy because the implementation of justice needs preparations," he added."

Regarding Lebanon's political situation, Sheikh Naeem Qassem also stressed that those who seek to disarm the resistance want to humiliate the Lebanese people.

The Lebanese Hezbollah deputy secretary-general also referred to the issue of Palestine in Imam Khomeini's view stressing that resistance against the interim Israeli regime is not limited to the Palestinians and that other groups in the region seek to help the Palestinian resistance.
