Iran Press/ Iran News: The resolution proposed by the United States and the European Troika against Iran was adopted on Wednesday, June 8, despite strong opposition from China and Russia at the International Atomic Energy Agency(IAEA) Board of Governors' quarterly meeting.
Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami said on Friday that the resolution was approved in the BoG due to the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) wrong formation and was backed by the Israeli regime, the US, and some European countries.
Khatami noted: "Before the issuance of the resolution, the Head of the IAEA visited the President of the Zionist regime, which means that the resolution was issued with the full coordination of the IAEA' head and the Zionist regime."

He said the resolution was concluded based on the information received by the Israeli regime and that the answer was biased.
Noting that the anti-Iranian resolution was instead pressured leverage to get points from Iran in the Vienna Talks, the top cleric reminded those who ratified the statement that the Iranian nation never succumbed to the avarice of the enemies.
Several negotiations between Iran and the P4+1 group of countries – Britain, France, Germany, China, and Russia – have been held in the Austrian capital since April 2021 to bring Washington back into the deal. However, the Vienna talks exclude American diplomats due to their country's withdrawal.
On May 8, 2018, the United States unilaterally withdrew the internationally-signed JCPOA.
