Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicraft said that as a priority, Iran subjected all touristic elements to the vaccination against the coronavirus so that the health of the tourist activists was protected.

Iran PressIran news: In an interview with Iran Press News Agency on the sidelines of the weekly cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Ezzatollah Zarghami said from the beginning of the vaccination process, tourism activists, including tour leaders as well as accommodation centers, were prioritized. 

Zarghami stated: "We were able to prove to different parts of the country that if tourists had taken a PCR test and injected vaccine, there would have really been no problem to enter Iran; however, it was an issue difficult to accept because our colleagues in the Ministry of Health were very sensitive about that."

The tourism ministry presented its argument to the National Task Force for Fight against the Coronavirus, and visa issuance was resumed.

Iran's Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicraft says tourists from any country can visit Iran as their destination.
