Iran PressMiddle East: Today, Saturday, corresponding to the 14th of Khordad 1401 AH ( equal to the 4th of June 2022 AD), is the departure anniversary of Imam Khomeini, the great founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to the information office of the Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba(HHN), "Sheikh Akram Al-Kaabi," the secretary-general of the Iraqi resistance movement, in a message on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the demise of Imam Khomeini, described the founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran as a man who changed a nation.

Al-Kaabi, emphasizing that Imam Khomeini's life was spent in support of the right and repulsion of oppression of the oppressed, addressed the late leader of the Islamic Republic:

"We testify to God that we are on the same path as you, which is an example of honor and dignity and is the ultimate pride in this world and the hereafter."

Imam Khomeini (RA) began his struggle in 1342 AH with the Shah's authoritarian regime and US intervention in Iran, and finally was exiled to Turkey and then to Iraq by the Shah's regime.

During the thirteen years of exile in Iraq, Imam Khomeini, in addition to training many students, exposed the corrupt nature of the Shah's regime and the illegitimate greed of the United States in Iran and issued enlightening proclamations, paving the way for the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Finally, after the hard struggle and the migration of the Imam to France and then his glorious return to Iran, the Islamic Revolution of Iran in 1978 reached its final victory.
