Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Energy will have a trip to Qatar to take part in the eighth Joint Commission of Economic Cooperation of the two countries.

Iran PressIran news: In the Iran-Qatar 8th Commission of Joint Economic Cooperation that is to be held on June 7 in Doha, the cooperation will be discussed in terms of 5 committees namely 'Economic, Trade, and Industrial Committee', 'Banking and Financial Committee', 'Transport and IT Committee', 'Scientific, Health, Cultural, Sports, and Tourism Committee, and 'Water and Energy Committee'.

The first Iran-Qatar trade conference is of the peripheral events to be held on the sidelines of the joint commission meeting. 

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi's administration is focused on boosting ties with the neighboring countries. The meeting of the Iranian and Qatari presidents in February 2022 paved the way for the development of cooperation in the form of economic joint commissions.
