Yemen (IP) – Two civilians were killed and another was severely wounded in a landmine explosion left behind by the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen's Al-Hudaidah Province.

Iran PressMiddle East: Media sources reported on Sunday that the explosion took place in the Hays area in Yemen's Al-Hudaidah Province.

The incident was caused by the explosion of landmines that the Saudi aggressors planted in the Hays area, according to the reports.

The Yemeni Health Ministry issued a statement confirming the news, stating that two civilians were killed and another injured following the explosion of landmines planted in Al-Hudaidah Province.

The injured civilian is currently in critical condition, according to the statement.

Earlier, it was reported that the Saudi-led coalition had violated the ceasefire in Al-Hudaidah 68 times during the past 24 hours.

Saudi Arabia launched the devastating war on Yemen in March 2015 in collaboration with a number of its allies and with arms and logistics support from the US and several Western states. The objective was to bring back to power a Riyadh-friendly regime and crush the popular Ansarullah resistance movement, which has been running state affairs in the absence of an effective government in Yemen.
