Iran Press/ Iran News: Following the seizure of a cargo ship carrying the flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Greek waters with the cooperation of the United States, the Swiss charge d'affaires was summoned to the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the protector of US interests.
Swiss charge d'affaires is to convey the Iranian government's protest to the American authorities.
The Greek government on Wednesday seized a ship carrying the flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran off the coast of the country and confiscated its cargo with a court order and in coordination with the US government.
On Wednesday, the Iranian Foreign Ministry also summoned Greece's chargé d'affaires (due to the absence of the country's ambassador) to protest the move strongly.
