Tehran(IP)- A comprehensive memorandum of understanding was signed between the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology.

In the ceremony, Issa Zarepour, the Minister of Information and Communications Technology of Iran, referring to the areas of cooperation between the Ministry and the Army of the Islamic Republic, said: "The two sides have one thing in common, and that is that the glorious army of the Islamic Republic defends the country's physical borders, and we are the borders of the country's cyberspace.

The Minister of Information and Communications Technology added: "Bordering cyberspace is not an easy task because now foreign platforms or platforms have entered the country, crossing the borders of our cyberspace (and the whole world).

He also said: "Also, by using the existing capacities in the Ministry of Communications and knowledge-based companies, we will try to provide the ground for updating and developing the army's communication infrastructure in order to strengthen this infrastructure."
