Tehran (IP) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian left Tehran for Switzerland on Wednesday to attend the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2022 (Davos).

Iran PressIran News: The COVID-19 pandemic in 2021 canceled a gathering of world political and business elites to attend the Davos summit.

Due to the pandemic, this year’s Davos meeting has also been held with delay.

The World Economic Forum is a non-governmental organization in Switzerland; the Forum is known as Davos because it is annually held in the eastern Swiss city.

The Annual Meeting 2022 will embody the World Economic Forum’s philosophy of collaborative, multistakeholder impact, providing a unique collaborative environment in which to reconnect, share insights, gain fresh perspectives, and build problem-solving communities and initiatives. Against a backdrop of deepening global frictions and fractures, it will be the starting point for a new era of global responsibility and cooperation.
