Pakistan (IP) - The Pak-Iran Business Expo 2022 kicked off on Tuesday in Pakistan's Lahore for three days.

Iran PressIran news: The Consul General of Iran in Lahore Mohammad-Reza Nazeri and the Chairman of Lahore's Chamber of Commerce were among those who attended that first day of the three-day expo.

According to Nazeri, a series of expert meetings are scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the event to discuss a bartering system for the facilitation of the trade between Iran and Pakistan.   

Hossein Amini, the Iranian commerce attache in Pakistan, said 16 companies from Iran were present at the exhibition, and more specialized meetings would be held between the two country's officials and industry activists. 

In the exhibition underway until May 26, the Iranian companies present their products in such areas as diary, steel, machinery, cooking equipment, health items, food, furniture, clothing, stone cutting, mineral drilling, auto parts, and telecommunications equipment.
