Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has said that the assassination of an anti-terrorist IRGC commander Colonel Hassan Sayyad Khodaei revealed the Zionist regime’s image which is full of despicability and unworthiness.
Qalibaf made the comment in a message he issued on the Sunday assassination of Khodaei, who was a member of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).
The Iranian parliament speaker offered his condolences on Khodaei’s martyrdom to the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as well as the martyr’s family and the Iranian people.
In his message, Qalibaf said that Iran’s enemies resort to terrorist acts because they cannot stand against the resistance of the Iranian nation.
He called on intelligence and security bodies to identify and punish the main culprits of the terror act.
Khodaei's assassination will not go unanswered
Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major-General Mohammad Bagheri said that the assassination of IRGC member Hassan Sayyad Khodaei will not go unanswered.
He offered his condolences for Khodaei’s martyrdom to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as well as the martyr’s family and the Iranian people.
Bagheri hailed Khodaei for his efforts to defend the Islamic revolution and establishment as well as the dignity and security of Iran.
Bagheri said that the assassination shows the despicableness of those who only claim to be defending human rights, and indicates their futile attempts to cover their defeats in the face of the resistance front.
