Iran Press/ Iran news: Journalists from Iraq's Kurdistan Region, Turkey, China, Qatar, Japan, Pakistan, Lebanon, Russia, and the Republic of Azerbaijan visited Sirjan Iron Ore Mining Complex on their first visit.
The Director of International Affairs of the Department of Iran's Ministry of Industry, Mine, and Trade told Iran Press the tour was held to introduce the Iranian cities' touristic, mine, and industrial capacities.
They visited the Kerman traditional Bazar, Ganjali-Khan Bath, Ganjali-Khan Caravanserai, Vakil Traditional Tea Bar, and Ftahabad Garden.
The Chinese journalist told Iran Press that the culture of Kerman was indicative of the Iranian rich culture and that the two countries were to some extent similar to each other. A journalist from Iraq's Kurdistan Region also hailed the beauty of Kerman.
At the end of the tour, journalists visited Kerman's Cemetery of Martyrs and paid tribute to Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani beside his grave, talking with the people there.
On January 3, 2020, the Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, traveled to Iraq at the official invitation of the Iraqi authorities and was martyred in an airstrike by US terrorist forces at Baghdad Airport, along with Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, Deputy Head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) and some of his comrades.
General Soliemani was the top Iranian commander who played a vital role in the fight against the ISIS terrorist group and defeated them.
