Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will visit the Russian Federation on May 16 to participate in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) summit and have talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin

Iran PressEurope: The head of the state will participate in the meeting of CSTO leaders in Moscow on May 16. The event marks the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Collective Security Treaty and the 20th anniversary of the creation of the organization.

Leaders of member states will share views "on relevant current issues in the region and the world, discuss ways of a joint response to various challenges and threats emerging," the press service noted.

Moreover, bilateral talks between Belarusian and Russian leaders are planned, the press service added. "The issues of developing cooperation and joint efforts on import substitution will become one of the main issues to be discussed," according to the Russian media. 219
