Tehran (IP)- Iran’s Foreign Minister and his Azeri counterpart have discussed developments in bilateral cooperation between the two countries and regional developments over the phone.

Iran PressIran news: Hossein Amir Abdollahian and  Jeyhun Bayramov discussed the latest developments in bilateral relations in the political, economic, trade, consular, and parliamentary fields and the implementation of the agreements of the joint Iran-Azerbaijan Economic Commission.

"I will travel to Tehran soon to meet and exchange views on expanding cooperation between the two countries," Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said.

During a one-day visit to Baku last December, the Iranian Foreign Minister met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to discuss expanding cooperation between the two countries.
