Qom (IP) - The Ambassador of Romania to Tehran called for the shore-up of cultural interaction between Budapest and Qom, south of Tehran.

Iran PressIran News: In a meeting with the Mayor of Qom Morteza Saghaian-Nejad on Wednesday, Mirla Carmen Greco said that Budapest sought to shore up relations with Qom on common grounds, particularly in the cultural areas.  

Morteza Saghaian for his part welcomed the demand and announced the readiness of the municipality of Qom for cooperation with Romania.

Qom is the seventh-largest metropolis city in Iran. Qom is considered holy in Shi'a Islam, as it is the site of the shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh, sister of Imam Reza, the 8th Imam of the world's Shias.
