Speaking on the sidelines of the visit to Shahid Rajaei port (southern Iran) on Sunday, Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, the top military adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, said: Considering the strategic position of the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Sea of ​​Oman for trade exchanges, the adoption of a sea-based strategy has a decisive role in the process of export, transit, and economy of the region.

Major General Rahim Safavi also said: "When the geopolitical, geoeconomic and geostrategic layers in a region coincide, that region will be strategic, and when a region has a superior strategic and geopolitical weight, all world powers will look at that region.".
