Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that COVID-19 had taken the lives of 8 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 141,165.

Iran PressIran news:  According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 07, 2022, 7,224,701 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 7,002,258 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 270 cases, of whom 63 patients were hospitalized.916 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 51,446,960 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, no city is red, four are orange, 319 are Yellow, and 125 are blue zones.

So far, 64,366,106 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 57,601,746 have received the second dose, 27,123,383 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 149,091,235 doses.
