Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Friday that COVID-19 had taken the lives of 12 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 141,157.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 06, 2022, 7,224,431 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,999,709 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 375 cases, of whom 76 patients were hospitalized.

952 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 51,401,134 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, no city is red, 33 are orange, 321 are Yellow, and 94 are Blue zones.

So far, 64,359,564 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 57,592,580 have received the second dose, 27,105,681 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 149,057,825 doses.
