Middle East (IP)- Reacting to the arrival of settlers in Al-Aqsa Mosque and the failure to achieve their goal, the head of Hamas' political bureau has underlined that each event has its own tools and that the Palestinians will deal with the attacks accordingly.

Iran PressMiddle East: Ismail Haniyeh reacted to the arrival of Zionist settlers in the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

According to the official Hamas website, Ismail Haniyeh stated: "What happened today in Al-Aqsa Mosque confirms that the battle is not related to a sole event, but that the battle is open and in terms of time and space, includes the land of Palestine. Every incident has its own tools and methods that we use to prevent attacks and to protect our identities."

"Our current goal is to defeat the [Israeli] occupiers 'plan to divide the time and space of Al-Aqsa Mosque, which our nation is capable of doing," added the head of Hamas' political bureau.

He also praised the actions of the Palestinian worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque, saying: "The Zionists had no choice but to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque in fear because scandal had taken over their hearts and their hearts were filled with terror. The guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque forced them to lower their flags and leave in defeat. We will confront on several fronts.  Our nation will not give up, but will achieve more great victories on the path to great victory."

Palestinian media reported today that more than 700 Zionist settlers have entered Al-Aqsa Mosque to commemorate the anniversary of the occupation of Palestine and are trying to raise the Zionist regime's flag in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

However, Israeli forces blocked the move due to strong warnings from Palestinian resistance groups.

Palestinian resistance groups last night warned Tel Aviv in separate statements about the consequences. Israeli media reported last night that the Israeli army had deployed iron dome systems around Al-Quds city and Tel Aviv.

Moments after the report was released, Israeli Channel 14 television reported that Tel Aviv security agencies had taken today's warning from Palestinian resistance groups seriously.

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) warned in a statement: "Allowing the occupying Zionist authorities [regime] to allow the settlers to enter the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Mosque tomorrow (Thursday) is playing with fire and leading the region toward tensions. It means that [the occupying regime] will be fully responsible for it."
