Iran Press/ Iran News: The 16th Iran Open RoboCup 2022 has been held by Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch of Tehran and Qazvin Islamic Azad University, Young and Elite Researchers Club of Islamic Azad University, and the National RoboCup Committee, from 14 to 16 Ordibehesht 1401 (May 4-5, 2022) in the Science and research branch.
On the first day of the competition, the Iranian RoboCup team introduced role-playing robots in the field of environment and assistance in the event of an earthquake as a long and scientific effort.
Competitors also tested their newly created versions of robots and used this opportunity to move up to the next level of science and technology.
The World RoboCup Federation seeks to foster research on artificial intelligence and intelligent robots by designing a standard issue whose scope calls for all available technologies to participate and test.
RoboCup chose the game of football as the main focus of its research to create initiatives for fundamental social and industrial issues.
The ultimate goal of RoboCup is to form a fully intelligent team of humanoid robots so that it will win the World Cup in 2050 against the team entitled Champion.

"Morteza Musikhani," Chairman of the National RoboCup Committee of Iran, said: "In this year that the Leader of the Islamic Revolution emphasized on supporting knowledge-based activities and the development of artificial intelligence, good measures have been taken to hold the 16th Iranian RoboCup Open."
Mohammad Norouzi, in charge of Iran's Free RoboCup League, also announced the countries of Turkey, Brazil, Malaysia, China, France, Germany, Afghanistan, Canada, and the United States have participated as foreign teams in the 16th Iranian RoboCup.
