UEFA Champions League: Villarreal 2-3 Liverpool

Liverpool recovered from 2-0 down to win at Villarreal in their UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg and progress 5-2 on aggregate, reaching a third final in five years.

Iran PressEurope: Second-half goals from Fabinho, Luis Diaz, and Sadio Mane sent Liverpool to the final after they had trailed 2-0 at the break in Spain.

Jürgen Klopp told his players that they had to move smarter in the second half, use the ball on the half-turn, and mix it up. Villarreal had marked one-on-one before the break and Liverpool had been too static. Now they cut loose. Villarreal, meanwhile, appeared to have punched themselves out. They could not maintain the intensity.
