Iran Press/ Iran news: In a telephone call with his Turkish counterpart, President Ebrahim Raisi congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Turkish nation on Eid al-Fitr.
Raisi reiterated that the policy of the Islamic Republic is to promote comprehensive relations with regional countries, especially Turkey.
Describing the recent events in Palestine as unacceptable, he called on the Islamic countries to make every effort to stop the brutal attacks of the Zionist regime on the Palestinian people.
Expressing his desire to visit Tehran, Erdogan, for his part, announced Turkey's interest in discussing regional and international developments, as well as coordinating to advance bilateral and international relations, significantly increasing trade with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
