Yazd (IP)- Yazd University in central Iran and the University of Bielefeld in Germany signed a memorandum of cooperation to participate in international projects and benefit from European research funding.

It also includes student-professor exchanges for research and teaching, faculty study opportunities, and research visits.

The memorandum also provides the possibility of defining and conducting joint research projects.

The Memorandum of Understanding between Yazd and Bielefeld Universities in Germany provides a sound basis for future cooperation between the two universities, especially participation in international projects and benefiting from European research funding.

Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1971 as one of the first universities of applied sciences in Germany.

The university currently has six faculties as a comprehensive university with six faculties. It covers a wide range of disciplines in social sciences, economics and business, mathematics and engineering, arts, and medicine.
