Tehran (IP) - The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that the thinking of Morteza Motahhari is the basis of the Islamic Revolution.

Today (Sunday), the President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, in a meeting with members of the commemorating the anniversary of the martyrdom of Morteza Motahhari, called him a revolutionary jurist, philosopher, mystic, and politician and said: "Master Motahhari's thinking is the basis of the Islamic Revolution, and today we can use the capacity of his words, thoughts and teachings to expand and explain the teachings of the Islamic Revolution."

The President of Iran added: "The way to protect the minds of young people is to revive the thoughts and teachings of Martyr Motahhari and other elders because their thinking can help strengthen the beliefs of the young generation."

Raisi also said: "One of the mental knots that the enemy is still challenging today is the issue of women and family, and Martyr Motahhari has also offered a solution in this regard."

Emphasizing that the principles of Martyr Motahhari's thinking are not time-oriented and are always alive, Iran's President noted: "The secret of the permanence of Motahari's thoughts is that he recognized the society and its needs and provided intellectual, cultural, and ideological versions in accordance with it."
