Nigerians demonstrated in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people on Thursday in the capital Abuja.

Iran PressAfrica: The demonstration was held on the eve of World Quds Day. Today, Friday, April 29, 2022 (May 9, 1401, AH) coincides with the 27th of Ramadan, 1443 AH, the International Day of Quds.

The Islamic Movement of Nigeria posted a video of the Nigerian demonstration on its Twitter account: "Supporters of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaki, the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), rallied in the Nigerian capital, Abuja, on the eve of World Al-Quds Day in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people." 

The last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan has been named International Quds Day by Imam Khomeini, the great founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, so that Muslims around the world can express their disgust with the hostile actions and racist policies of the Zionist regime. 219
