Tehran (IP) - Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPO) reported a 14% increase in the country's non-oil export to Russia.

Iran PressIran news: The Chairman of Tehran-based Iran-Russia Trade Chamber reported a growth of over 60 percent of exports from Iran to Russia since the beginning of the Iranian last year, in March 2021.

According to TPO, the value of Iran's non-oil exports to Russia in 2021 exceeded $ 579 million, weighing around 1.140 million tons.

In 2020, around $510,000 million of goods weighing over 1 million tons were exported to Russia from Iran.

The great Iran-Russia trade conference with representatives of more than 350 Iranian and Russian companies was held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, in the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry conference hall.

The conference was attended by Kazem Jalali, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Moscow, Alireza Peyman Pak, The head of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization, and Sergei Katyrin, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

The economic and trade cooperation capacities between Iran and Russia were discussed, especially in the current situation.
