Kabul (IP) - The deputy ambassador of Iran to Kabul said the country was ready to help the Taliban to maintain the security of the people in Afghanistan.

Iran PressAsia: Hassan Mortazavi told reporters Iran would stand by the Afghani nation and spare no efforts to help them, including helping them maintain security.

Mortazavi said the Islamic Republic of Iran was ready to transfer the Afghan people injured due to the recent terrorist attacks, to Iran for treatment. 

Afghanistan has witnessed several terrorist attacks in recent days.

At least 27 students were killed and more than 100 others were injured in bomb attacks on Tuesday on girls’ schools in western Kabul.

Also, dozens of worshipers were killed or injured in an explosion on Thursday, the largest and the oldest Shiite mosque in the center of the Afghan city of Mazar-i-Sharif.

The casualties of a blast that targeted Imam Sahib mosque on Friday afternoon reached more than 30 people and 50 wounded.
