Iran Press/ Iran news: According to WIPO, Iranian women are ranked 19 with 2.23% of patent applications, higher than countries such as the US, Germany, Britain, and Japan.
Based on the report, Cuban women inventors ranked first in 2021, with more than half of the country's patent applications.
According to WIPO, which includes data from 74 countries, the global average share of women in patents registered is about 17%.
