Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking on Thursday, President Raisi said that the facilitation of pilgrimage trips is an important task and referred to the effects and blessings of these spiritual trips, saying, “Hajj and Pilgrimage Organisation must cooperate with the relevant ministries to provide suitable conditions for easy and cheap pilgrimage.”
Referring to people's rightful concerns over the unusual cost of air travel, especially at certain times, the President told the relevant government departments, “Do not allow some to put pressure on the people in spiritual travel and pilgrimage.”
Raisi also stressed the need to follow up on reopening the land border with Iraq.
The President also ordered the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organisation to be entrusted with the process of chartering travel planes to places of pilgrimage by the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and the National Aviation Organisation to reduce prices and facilitate the pilgrims' travel.
