The Emir of Qatar held a separate telephone conversation on Thursday night with the head of the Palestinian Authority and the head of Hamas' political bureau about the latest developments in Palestine.

Iran PressMiddle East: In a telephone conversation with Mahmoud Abbas, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani stressed his solidarity and readiness to help the Palestinians.

He pointed out that Qatar was making efforts with the relevant international parties to stabilize the ceasefire in Gaza and achieve Palestinian national unity.

On the other hand, the head of the Palestinian Authority addressed the current dangerous situation in the Palestinian territories and said that the Palestinian leaders will hold a meeting on the current situation and make the necessary decisions.

The head of Hamas' political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, also called the emir of Qatar to discuss the escalating situation in the West Bank, al-Quds, Jenin and its camp.

In the phone call, Haniyeh said that the continuation of these aggressive policies by the occupying regime will have dangerous consequences. He added that Palestinian worshipers should be allowed to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque and that any desecration of this mosque is an insult to the Muslims of the world.

Since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, the Israeli regime has increased its attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied al-Quds.

Earlier, Palestinian groups had warned of the dangerous consequences of the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Palestinian people.
