Tehran (IP) - Benefactors donated 74,000 livelihood packages to be distributed among the vulnerable and needy families during the holy month of Ramadan in Tehran, the capital of Iran.

Iran PressIran news: With the arrival of Ramadan month, people in Islamic Countries each perform their rituals such as preparing food as 'Iftar' for each other, especially for the needy ones. 

In Tehran, the benefactors' donations were organized on Tuesday by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) in terms of 74,000 livelihood packages to be distributed among the vulnerable and needy.

The Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Ali Fadavi, attended the ceremony held in the holy shrine of the founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini.

During the ceremony, General Fadavi referred to Imam Khomeini's teachings and said his thought and path affected the whole world, making the oppressed more resistant and disturbing the arrogant powers front more than ever. 

The enemy acknowledged that it could not defeat Iran through military war, so we are now in a media, economic and cultural war, and we must try not to succeed, General Fadavi reiterated.

The top general went on to say that Iranians are the precious asset and capacity of the country.

He said that the economic problems could be solved by relying on domestic capabilities and Islamic models.
