Tehran (IP) - In a phone conversation, Iran's foreign minister and his Iraqi counterpart called to speed up all previous agreements' implementation.

Iran PressIran News: During the conversation between Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, both called to speed up all previous agreements' implementation.

They also discussed the two countries' mutual interests in all areas, including bilateral relations, regional developments, and the Vienna talks.

The Iranian Foreign Minister also stressed the need to focus on dialogue and a diplomatic solution to resolve the Ukraine crisis and said that addressing the roots of the current situation is key to lasting peace and stability in the Eurasian region.

The Iraqi Foreign Minister also referred to the latest developments in Iraq, his recent visit to Moscow, and his talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

Amir-Abdollahian invited his Iraqi counterpart to travel to Iran during the conversation, which Fuad Hussein welcomed.
