Afghan national in Tehran strongly condemned the "heinous terrorist attack" at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad, northwestern Iran.

Iran PressIran news: On Apr. 5, 2022., Tuesday, at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), a Takfiri element stabbed three clerics, one of them was martyred in place, and the two others were wounded that were carried to the hospital.

Another cleric then today was reported martyred due to the severity of the injuries.

Issuing a statement, the Afghan nationals gathering asked the perpetrators to be brought to justice soon, expressing condolences over the incident.

Tuesday’s attack, on the fourth day of the holy month of Ramadan in Iran, took place as large crowds gathered in the courtyard of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), a place which is visited by millions of people annually.
