Iran Press/ Asia: The meeting reviewed a range of consular matters between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan, including nationals, commutes, prisoners, scientific and educational issues, border, visa, transit, and customs issues, and narcotics.
The relations between Iran and Azerbaijan were accelerated after the meeting of the two countries' presidents on the sidelines of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit in Ashgabat on November 28, 2021; subsequently, the talks between the two countries continued to boost relations such as in business and economic fields.
