Beirut (IP) - A man who insulted the photo of General Qasem Soleimani at the Beirut International Book Fair faced a harsh reaction from the Lebanese people.

Iran Press/Middle East: A man named Betrus Khoury, an activist and NGO member who, according to local sources, is supported by the US Embassy in Lebanon, attacked General Soleimani's photo at the Beirut International Book Fair on Monday, chanting anti-Iranian slogans.

He was faced with a harsh reaction and expelled from the book fair.

The former commander of the Quds Force of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Lieutenant General Qasem Soleiman, was martyred on January 3, 2020, on the orders of the US government, as soon as he arrived at Baghdad airport.
