Sanaa (IP) - A Yemeni activist says the world does not hear or see the suffering of the Yemeni people, but instead, it declares its solidarity with Ukraine.

Iran PressMiddle East: Thousands of Yemenis took to the streets in Sana'a, the capital of Yemen, and other Yemeni cities to condemn the siege by the United States and Saudi Arabia.

The people of the Yemeni capital protested on Monday evening in condemnation of the US and Saudi actions in the sea, air and land blockade of Yemen, and chanted the slogan "the blockade of oil derivatives is the decision of the United States and the choice of the Yemenis is the storm of Yemen (Operation Decisive Storm)."

Yemeni activist Nasr al-Rawishan, who took part in anti-US and anti-Saudi protests, told Iran Press that the Yemeni people took a united stand in rejecting and opposing attacks, sieges and preventing ships carrying oil products, food and medicine from entering the port of Al-Hudaidah.

The Yemeni activist stressed that the siege has been going on for eight years and that the world does not hear or see the suffering of the Yemeni people, but on the other hand, the world declares its solidarity with Ukraine.

Nasr al-Rawishan said that Yemen has been at war for eight years and no one in the world is acting to help the Yemenis, so this world, especially the West and the United States, has a hypocritical approach.

Yemeni forces recently targeted the depths of Saudi Arabia and the UAE with Yemeni Operation Decisive Storm, which was widely reported in the world media.

The Saudi coalition forces, in cooperation with the United States, have besieged Yemen at the same time as the attacks began, and the humanitarian crisis in Yemen has reached its peak with the seizure of fuel ships by Saudi coalition forces.
