Bojnourd(IP)-The Vice President for Science and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that knowledge-based companies bring a culture of development to the country.

Iran PressIran News: In an interview with IranPress in Bojnourd, (Capital of North Khorasan Province in northeastern Iran) Sorena Sattari clarified the role of knowledge-based companies in the development of Iran, saying: "The important point is that the basis of the development culture that knowledge-based companies bring with them is creativity and individual knowledge, and new things will happen in this field in the future." 

The Vice President for Science and Technology of Iran stated that with the activity of knowledge-based companies, a new culture for development has entered the country and all officials and the private sector agree to join this new ecosystem.

Sorena Sattari added that about 6,800 knowledge-based companies are active in various fields in Iran, and the sales of these companies last year were about 300,000 billion tomans.

The Vice President for Science and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran also considered Iran's scientific and technological characteristics acceptable in the world arena and said that in some scientific fields, Iran ranks below 10 in the world.

Sorena Sattari, Vice President for Science and Technology of Iran, visited North Khorasan province, inaugurated innovation centers and creative and innovation houses in the province, and also visited the exhibition of the achievements of Bojnourd University scholars.
