Islamabad (IP) – People in various Pakistani cities held demonstrations condemning the terrorist attack on Shia worshipers in Peshawar.

Iran PressMiddle East: A terrorist attack on a Shia mosque in the Pakistani city of Peshawar last Friday killed at least 67 people and injured about 200 others. The ISIS terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh chastised the terrorist attack, saying it meant to create division among Muslims.

The people of Pakistan, including Islamabad, took part in the demonstration on Sunday, calling for the arrest of terrorists and the attack perpetrators on a Shia mosque in Peshawar.

Demonstrators in Islamabad held placards condemning terrorist acts in Peshawar and called on the Pakistani government to prevent similar attacks.
