Iran's permanent representative to the Vienna-based International Organization said on Sunday that the IAEA has removed the name of one of the Iranian locations under question from its list of remaining issues.

Iran PressEurope: The new report, issued by IAEA Director-General Rafael Grossi, is due to be read out in a seasonal meeting of the agency’s Board of Governors which will begin on Monday.

Mohammad Reza Ghaebi said that the report also welcomes a joint statement on Saturday by Grossi and Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Mohammad Eslami.

Iran's top negotiator Ali Bagheri Kani and Deputy EU foreign policy chief Enrique Mora met in Vienna on Saturday as the eighth round of talks between Iran and the five world powers are underway in the Austrian capital city.

Bagheri Kani and Mora have held several meetings.

The Iranian top negotiator also met with his counterparts from three European countries participating in the talks, namely Britain, France, and Germany.

The eighth round of Vienna talks to lift US sanctions against Iran from February 8 and after an 11-day interval for consultations with their capitals in the presence of Iran and the P5 + 1 (Germany, France, Britain, Russia, and China) resumed in the Austrian capital.

The vast majority of delegations acknowledge that the talks are moving forward, despite the complexity of some issues.

The Islamic Republic of Iran emphasizes that the more seriously the other side is prepared to lift the sanctions and the more serious the will is to accept the mechanisms envisaged by Iran in lifting the sanctions, the shorter the time to reach a final agreement.
