Iran Press/ Iran News: The nineteenth open session of Iran's Parliament began to review the 2022 budget bill in the revenue section.
The Plan and Budget Organization (PBO), the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance and the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran (CBI) are obliged to contribute up to 100, 000 billion Rials to each of the banks and ministries up to one month after the approval of the law.
Accordingly, the repayment of the facilities collectively (together for each bank and ministry) and notifying the operating banks and ministries must be determined and guaranteed.
After issuing a guarantee by the Plan and Budget Organization, the operating banks are obliged to pay the facility in case the facilities are requested by the interested ministries, at most one month after receiving the application and before September (working season of projects in cold regions).
The ceiling of each project plan is 5,000 billion Rials.
If it is not possible to make full use of these facilities by the beginning of September, the payment of the facilities will be unrestricted until the end of the year.
Parliament allocates €4.5 billion to Defense sector
Iran's Parliamentarians asked the government to allocate 4 billion and 500 million Euros for strengthening defense capabilities.
During the review of the revenue part of the 2022 budget bill, the MPs obliged the government to allocate 4 billion and 500 million Euros to the Defense Strengthening Capabilities and Strategic Defense Research Program through the National Oil Company.
Also, with 173 votes in favor, 24 votes against and 5 abstentions from a total of 220 of law makers present in the session, the Parliament agreed with the amendment of paragraph (g) of Note 1 of the 2022 budget bill referred by the Joint Commission, according to which, the share of bitumen in the executive bodies increased from 15,000 to 19,000 billion tomans.
Parliament allows Iranian nationals living abroad to enjoy exemption from military service
The Iranian parliamentarians agreed that those who have been living abroad can receive exemption card from military service by paying 15,000 euros.
In the open session of the Parliament, the lawmakers agreed that, in accordance with Article 110 of the Constitution, those who have been living abroad, the ones whose call up for military service dates back to 5 years ago, these people can receive their exemption card from military service by paying the equivalent of fifteen thousand (15,000) euros.
