Kabul (IP) - The Taliban authorities are mulling over forming the "Women’s Army" as a reform to the structure of Afghanistan’s Army.

Iran PressAsia: The Deputy Defense Minister of the Taliban Interim Government told Iran Press on Sunday that a Women's Army would be formed, adding that the Afghan army should protect its country's values and that this was the main goal of the army.

The news comes as the Taliban is recognized by the general public as a dogmatist regime, particularly about women.

Mufti Latifullah Hakimi also generalized the structural reform to the entire Afghan army, saying that new criteria for building a strong army structure were on the agenda to make a clean and committed army.

The Taliban deputy defense minister referred to US confiscation of the Afghan nation’s assets and said the Americans have been harassing and forcing the Afghan people in any way for the past 20 years.

At the height of the economic crisis, poverty and hunger in Afghanistan, US President Joe Biden confiscated the country's assets and allocated part of the money to pay compensation to the families of the 9/11 attacks' victims.

According to the US President's decision, three and half a billion dollars of Afghanistan's assets in the United States will be allocated as compensation for the families of the victims of the 9/11 attack.

The US government's decision has provoked widespread protests from various segments of the Afghan people.

Taliban deputy defense minister reiterated that the Americans could not hide the issue of freezing the money of the Afghan people and nor repeat their policy of failure against the Afghan people for the past 20 years.
