Iran Press/ Iran News: The competition's motto is "One Book, One Nation" and the courses of memorizing the whole Quran and recitation will be held in the sections of adults, women, students, and blinds.
The Head of the Quranic Affairs Center of the Endowments and Charity Affairs Organization, Hamid Majidi-Mehr, said in a press conference this morning (Saturday) that the competitions would be held in absentia due to the COVID outbreak.
Also, in an interview with Iran Press, he highlighted that the purpose of holding these competitions is to create unity among Muslims from around the world, which will provide educational and promotional communication in the future.
The competition jury reviewed 190 works of Qur'anic reciters and experts from 69 countries of the world and introduced the best ones to participate in the semi-final stage.
